Night Comes To Us
Night has come to us
like a lover of hearts
now we have forgotten this world
and flickering in the air
sparkle the remnants of dreams
like a thousand fireflies
dancing around the beliefs of men
waiting for your world to awake.
In the nameless knowing
of love moon's nectar
soaks the lilac blossoms
just like the floating lilies
on the silent water
they know nothing
but have felt the touch
of innocence's face
in a time long before us.

Yet again
Yet again you blow me away with your beautiful words. I LOVE the word choice in this poem!!! "they know nothing but have felt the touch of innocence's face in a time long before us." Wow..Thank you for this poem.
Dreams are a guide to reality from the depths of our minds.
