Darkness- silence,-solitude,

Water falling - breaking through.

Suffocating- reaching for air,

There is nothing…nothing there.

Breathe in cry out,

Darkness consumes you there's no way to get out.

Vision is blurred you loose all sight,

Trapped within darkness….Trapped within night.

Searching for a reason….a reason to fight,

Reaching for meaning….a meaning for the night.

Running-trying to break through,

Yet your there….still standing still.

You can't move nor make a sound.

Heart beating you feel it....feel it pound,

Screaming-reaching-needing to be found.

You cannot breathe nor can you see,

Chains constrict you….you can't break free.

Pleading-bleeding-begging for air,

I see you but you're not truly there.

Fear takes over all my mind,

Fear and darkness has made me blind.

There is something….something I must find,

It is a truth…a truth great and divine.

He is standing watching me bleed,

He is there helping me to believe.

I feel the truth within my soul,

I feel it starting….starting to take control.

Light breaks through the darkness giving back my sight,

Now I see there is a reason….a reason to fight.

Air flows within my lungs,

I breathe in and understand he is the son.

Peace and love washes away all chains and fears,

He is god…he is…near
