I sit here smiling as I feel this new bond,

This new connection which is so strong.

I have no clue how this could be,

That something so rare could happen to me.

Doesn't it amaze you to know,

That somehow you can know what is unknown.

Isn't it so fascinating that you could know someone before you even meet,

That there is so much we could find of only we would seek.

This feeling which you cannot define,

Like a strong connection of our minds.

Thoughts-emotions-and opinions are combined,

It's as if you're inside my mind.

I still cannot believe this is true,

Have you ever imagined meeting someone who is just like you.

Well take that too an extreme and you will see,

That's what happens with you and me.

I find it funny how we never knew,

Yet we have so much in common and can finish each other's sentences on cue.

So you see maybe what we believe to be fantasy,

Can in fact become a reality.

All we must do is imagine and see,

What we may be missing every day of our lives could be.

So open your eyes and reach out,

You never know what you may find now.
