The Devils Key

The devils key

Eyes stitched shut.

Bleeding, ripping, begging to be free,

Blinded to all that is left to see.

Broken glass flying through locked doors,

Broken …crying upon the floor.

Lifeless tears of desperation,

A Mind controlling apparition.

Running through an endless hall,

Angels singing as you fall.

Locked inside and endless fight,

Life without a single light.

One moment of hesitation,

Must repair this concentration.

Devil twisting tearing thoughts,

Deadly visions you've now sought.

Running deeper through locked doors,

The Pain…The suffering you endure.

Screaming shouting with no sound,

A devils key not meant to be found.

A key of lust a key of lies,

A key of death soon all hope dies.

Darkness contains you in a snare,

It seem's as if no one cares.

Through bleeding eyes you look up you see,

There is a hope a way to be free.

Trapped behind bars tied within chains,

A light breaks through erasing all pains.

Stitch by stitch your eyes are freed,

A love for life this love is all you need.

You tear the chains, you break the bars,

You toss the key which caused such harm.

Temptation broken and thrown out,

Peace and hope runs throughout.

A smile a wink of knowledge once unknown,

The devils snake turns to stone.

You rise strong to your feet,

You are glorious now complete.

You take the hand of sister so loved,

Hoping she too can be healed from above.

A blinding light strikes you and all who are broken and burned,

Unworthy of love already earned.

One by one fears, doubts, and pains are thrown out,

Step by step you see what this life's about.

Doors once locked reopened Words left unsaid now are spoken.

Hearts once lost and forsaken hearts once dead reawaken.

No longer will your screams be tuned out,

No longer will your hearts feel doubt.

There's nothing left for you to fear,

For he the lord is now and forever here.
