My Black Sunrise
Staring out the porthole till eyes glaze over,
Daisies flirt with danger and penguins waltzing,
Sweat lines the brow, knives float on carlsbergs,
Work your arms to straw for the image of hollywood,
Starve your body, feed the eyes, feed the lust,
Friends become sillouettes for the illusion of passion.
Drop anchor and confess your love,
She flirts with your seamen and goes below,
She destroys your engine with her tongue,
Reptiles look more alluring next to her hiss,
Mutiny runs amok, your ship is lost,
Shrill cackling laughter as your lifeline is cut.
Your mate indeed, he leaves with the hiss,
The penguins invite, daisies dance around the light,
Deep blue something left a message on your machine,
The haze clears,
Sillouettes appear on a blip, the black sunrise lifts.
Carlsbergs, winners and axes,
The ties of blood and friendship outlast any snowstorm.
