“An innocent murder”

Towering over her he stands,
Lacking in remorse, he stares down at her,
As she try’s in vain to shield her baby.
He has no feelings for either of them,
There’s a smell of fear hanging in the air,
He brings the club smashing down on her head.
As she lays in a semi-conscious state
Writhing in agony, but powerless to move
Trying to scream out, but remaining silent.
She watches the same fate befall her baby
He finishes the job he came here to do
And another two seals are added to the cull.

Thanks Debs
I have never really written poems before the first one I put on here a few weeks ago. Now I seem to be trying to come up with something about everything I come across in life. Im starting to think in ryhme, I think I am getting some poetry associated addiction!
