Unsolicited phone calls
The unsolicited telephone call,
Drives me up the bloody wall.
They’re always on the phone,
Talking in their robotic drone.
Trying to make a sale,
I’ll tell you now you won’t prevail.
So please don’t pretend you care how I am,
As I know you couldn’t give a damn.
And why do you find it so amazing,
That I do not need any double-glazing.
If you want the phone shoved down your throat,
Just ask me again, do I want a quote.
As much as I’d like to sit and chat,
You really are an irritating twat,
So take whatever you are trying to sell,
And go and fucking rot in hell.

how about the salesman at your door when you just don't have time enough to finish your work...there with you as far as unsolicited calls are concerned.nice write
I just love how
they butcher my last name and then want to chat like we are long lost buddies. I have learned the two step move that never fails...Step 1 "I don't need any"...Step 2 CLICK! It works every time.

Here, it is always at dinner time.
i always say now, "please just take me off your list"...even before they begin their speech...they always say okay...but i still get calls...

Do Not Call List. It works!! I don't get many calls from solicitors at all anymore. Good work, Andrew. I guess a lot of people still need to register!
