Christmas At Our House

Christmas at Our House
We get so excited at Christmas time
Making sure we get off to bed on time
Sherry for Santa to wish him good cheer
Should we leave Rudolf a full glass of beer

Our house decked up in mistletoe
Mum tying coloured ribbons and bows
Ladders to climb the Christmas tree so high
The fairy on top, sparkling and catching my eye

When Santa arrives with his great big sack
I just hope he won’t be breaking his back
Will Rudolf arrive with his nose so red
I Wonder what time he will get off to bed.

Dolls and prams in the sack for Tilly
And a fancy new push bike there for Billy
A game for Dad so he can have some fun
Earrings and necklace to dress up our Mum

Waking up early with Dad and Mum
Santa’s been here and we're all having fun
Turkey in the oven and also some stuffing
Hope mum’s not gonna be huffing and puffing

Dinner is served with all the trimmings
Pulling the crackers to see what we’re winning
Dad pouring wine and mum’s getting “tidily”
Just having fun and a wee bit giggly

Nanny and Granddad have joined us too
I hope it’s the same for all of you
We are so lucky to have mum and dad
For some that don’t it sure must be sad
