My Eyes Will Cry
I guess you wish things to an end.
I can’t believe I lost this friend.
So many tears, my eyes will cry.
I guess its time to say goodbye.
The nights were long, the laughs were plenty
Thought we’d get married at the age of twenty.
But now your arm rests low and limp…
While my soul begins to wimp.
If it’s what you want to do.
I guess I’ll never make love to you.
So many hopes my soul had held…
“I love You Khadeim!” my mouth had yelled.
Six stanzas alone cannot portray,
How my heart has turned to grey.
Still I’ll love you till the end of time,
Hope you don’t suffer from this stupid little rhyme.
I will not beg your love to stay,
I want you to go your own chosen way.
I’ll still think of you, every single night,
I hope that this decision is right.
I guess you wish things to an end,
I’ll be very jealous of your next little “friend”.

I stand in awe
Every word in this poem inspires me to love and not wait. Your poem is full of pain, but yet your words are love and they can not be slain.one person is the subject, but a millions souls have heard the words.
