I'll leave behind woes and sorrows
I'll leave behind woes and sorrows.
I won't cry in bed tonight.
He often asks too much,
He often something borrows,
And never turns me back,
And tells me monstrous lies.
He once had said I was the only.
He once had said I was the best.
But my immortal soul is cold and lonely,
The only thing I want – to have a rest.
I know what to do: I’ll let him go.
I’m fond of him, but not at all obsessed.
I don’t aim to have with him a row.
I want to be just happy, not depressed.
