Unit 5 Day 1

LORD,

Yes I recognize your voice in me.

I have felt it rolling around; awaiting the blessed day.

When I gave up my heart and my life. I threw out the laws that ruled my life.

I then with faith threw open the temple doors. I fell to the floor and welcomed you in.

My LORD you came in swift as a gentle breeze.

You said, “Arise and speak once more.Weep not over what you have lost. Take your joy for me and make it real.

”Firmly you said, “I give you back your heart today, that your love will forever speak my name.”

“Bear it like a torch held high to light the path of the blind.”

“Go out and fight my fight. My words are yours when you walk with me.”

“Suffer to end suffering. Travel to draw the light as a line against the night.”

“Train up those who humbly serve. To comfort those of mine who await in sleep.”

“Mislead them not and serve with faith.”

So in the name of Jesus.

I go.

I seek.

I serve.
