Build Me As A Wall
9-8-2006
LORD,
Today once more I ask to be humbled.
For I recognize, as mountains are taller than I. Ants do more work than I can even in the best of my life.
Holy Father, show to me a lesson. For I seek to keep submitting to your will. Yet alone I cannot shape my soul.
Like a mason LORD; Build me as a wall. Shape me to the task ahead and with your line measure me straight.
Tap each stone in my heart to be perfect in your will.
LORD for when I become your work I can stand forever!
When your light moves across my surface.
Let each part of me speak to your glory and craftsmanship.
For you have used nothing but the best materials to make me.
Even if I am a dust filled road, or a king. No excess or lack will be found in me.
That is the truth and the difference between what you make and I make LORD.
So today I ask to be made humble and thank you for all that I am Father.
In the name of Jesus I pray,
Amen
