Father,

Today I ask for forgiveness for I have sinned, My sin was by my own doing and I accept your judgment O’ Lord as I bow and humble my self before you.

For I am like a Captain of a ship,In my faith I have weathered many great storms with you!

Yet it is not when the waves rise and froth to and fro, but when they are calm, that I stumble.

It is when the clouds are few and I over come a finished work that I fall!

To be Captain though means being a leader. So, Lord in order for me to teach others not to be sinful of mind or heart,I must first cast it out of my life.

I must also learn to forgive my self,For many times when I do wrong I scourge my self inside so long I cannot hear you or continue your work.

In order for you to forgive me I recognize I must forgive my self and ask you on faith to forgive me.

Then and only then will I be able to right the ship and gather the men,

Only when I listen for your trumpet and look for your light will I find land…

Only when I stand and believe will the sails be filled…

And only when I speak your truth will the ship turn to you!

Lord God praise you and your Son forever.
