LORD we pray to you today.

We have walked away from many things in our lives.

We have discovered and forgotten many things.

Like what it felt like when we first found you.

The first touch of our heart and the drum of your voice upon it.

The first answer you gave to our very first prayer.

LORD we have at times forgotten our way and lost sight of you.

Yet what we learned is that you are always a few steps behind us. Encouraging us to victory.

You are the gentle whisper that reminds us of who we are.

My LORD we shall seek you at the beginning of the day, the end and all between.

We shall thank you with our hearts, deeds and mouths.

For the one thing we shall not forget is that you are our GOD. Kind and full of power.

Firm and truthful in your way and the only road to life.

Thank you for all you do for us.
