Lord of Shepherds,
Today I pray to be made as a quiet lamb,
One that follows its Shepherd,

That eats of the green fields he is led to so that he might grow a solid coat to clothe others,That drinks of the clean river he is led to,

So that I may be cleansed and grow into a good bounty for the hungry,
That wonders not far from his Shepherd,

Thereby setting an example for other lambs.I wish to be a quiet lamb that seeks the sure path and is content with the field I am led to,

That stays where he is kept and awaits for his Shepherd’s return,
That returns love for love and love for hate,

And is humble and forgiving.Lord today let me be as a quiet lamb that I may humbly follow you,And not as a lamb that bleats loudly.

Hearing not his Shepherd’s call…
