The LORD Today

Unit 6 Day 4

Father,

Let the people of the world hear your precious voice, through the mouths of the few.

Hear the decree of the LORD today as in the past O’ nations.

Cast down and stomp your idols into dust. Grind them into utter nothingness.

Confess and return your hearts that you have stolen from the temple of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

Now as they cry out to you I cry also my Father for their sake.

I have no lamb to offer up, so I will offer up my life in service to you.

Within my heart I kneel before your altar next to the Spirit of Fire. I pour out my love on the altar and offer up my prayer to you.

For those who obey and those who have yet to hear.

Deliver them from our enemy O’ King of Glory.

Confound the mighty lions that come against us; rain down the words of fire to destroy the snares set to entrap us.

Thank you GOD my Rock. Praise your strength and name forever.

In Jesus name I pray

Amen

The most meaningful statement or scripture I read today was…

1 So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the LORD. They took it to Abinadab's house on the hill and consecrated Eleazar his son to guard the ark of the LORD. 2 It was a long time, twenty years in all, that the ark remained at Kiriath Jearim, and all the people of Israel mourned and sought after the LORD. 3 And Samuel said to the whole house of Israel, "If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the LORD and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."
~1 Samuel 7:1-3
