Our Father,

We hail your greatness over us. Praise to your name LORD God Almighty!

We recognize your way and voice. For it is you who granted us vision of the heart.

So we go out and pray for your voice to issue from our mouth as one. That we will listen for your words to bring truth and wisdom to all.

Yet the prince of air steals our children before us. He steals our history behind us. And mighty Father he seeks to steal your message from within us.

So others may not find; so others may not know your love and covenant.

Lord let it not be so!

For we ask you today to impart to all those around us.

That should the enemy steal our freedom with bands of iron, we shall not falter.

If he should steal our earnings or possessions, we shall not hunger.

If he should cut out our tongues, we will still be able to pray.

If he plucks out our eyes, we will still be able to worship you!

Father for when we accepted you in our heart and lived in you.

Our very heartbeat becomes a drum for you. It becomes your voice that we can listen to for our guidance.

Our breath becomes our voice to you. So we can still worship and praise you.

Let our enemies then know O’ LORD. That they must break our bodies to silence us.

But they will never be able to take the lives of your people Father. For we in spirit belong to you forever.

In the name of our savior I pray,Jesus is our way.
