Unit 2 Day 5

LORD,

I have accepted the works you have called me to.

Now I seek companions to come and share my soul and love of you.

Yet I am a strong sword with no edge LORD. I am strong with what you fill me. I may endure many battles for you.

Yet I sense your work ahead will require a witness. Someone to daily watch, learn and carry on that which they see you do through me.

Their character must be like an enduring stone. A stone upon which you may also draw me to sharpen me.

Also so they may endure the hardship I will fall into and carry on the message when I am used up.

For where you call me to go is through cloud and flame. I must take no weapons but your word. I seek to bring an offering of myself; also of those who love you between here and Jerusalem.

That our prayers may be offered up before your people with sweetness. So that the flood of believers may see the rays of the rising sun and know not in hope but in truth you are near.

In the name of our Great Light Jesus
