"An Endless Sail"

An endless sail
in a dreary cold night,
The wind never fails
as it blows with all its might.

The ship it rocks
as it plays in the waves.
Ive laid in the bed
for more than 300 days.

A Signal sounds
one of many.
The crew does rounds
all have grown skinny.

Two more years go bye
with nothing to show
many have perished
But the wind still blows

Together we stayed
never to falter
we spent plenty of nights
sleeping next to the alter.

A new signal blows
one of pleasure,
finally it ends
We have found our treasure.

The ship docks, the crew leaves
The captain shouts
"Hey, Wait for me!''

Now we are home
From a journey so long,
A trip to hell;
and a good story to tell.

Lol, this one needs some work.

I Really

Liked this piece Spencer. It had a gentleness and warmth to it.
