?????
I'm American and Dumb as Dirt
Proud as a Prizefighter
I close my mind to fresher things
Somehow it makes the margin wider
None of us have Grown up right
We all were just all Wrong
Liar's lies have held us tight
We cooed a con mans song
And every year in every ear
The message grew in excess
Happiness is reveling in just how Big your Mess Gets

Full Of Voice!
Wow! Cheers to you; of all the poems I've read on the site thus far, this one s full of the msot voice I have ever read. Your alliteration and rhyming are both strong in this, which ties the reader to the story. Nice work.

Thanks
Thanks for the "Wow". It is rather rhythmic because of the repeated sounds and rhyming is always fun!
Superb words...
Excellent. When the geo-political puzzle is put together, we find we all have grown up wrong. We are going nowhere, fortune is fake.
Peace and Love,
Frank
I couldn't have said it
I couldn't have said it better if I had actually written the poem myself. Kidding.
Love it
"we cooed a con man's song".... I love that line!
