to nothing but a stutter
Away this simple stare to subtle light gestures
The kinds that leaned on hearts full of now harsh convictions
Insisting at these crass ways and hoping for a change
You finally did last but to a moment of a fault
Callous temperament to bear now how distant is your glare
Now these muddled waters undulate once lost moments
How heavy you now heave and drink away those tears
To think that I might have a hand to play in such fears
The ones to you would share in a confessional lined with gears
The kinds that crank away and bring our souls to nothing but a stutter…
