The year 2000 is upon us.
The year when its all
supposed to go to shit!
Nostradomas said it,
scientists are saying it,
computer whizes are saying it,
Hell,you all are saying it!

Are you ready for the millenium,
for Y2K?
Do you have your water stored,
your can goods,dry goods,
money, clothes, weapons?
Are you curled up in a hole somewhere,
waiting for the end?

I say bring it on,
roll out the red carpet,
let the show begin!
That's what this world needs,
one good enema!
A great purification!

Let humanities eye
turn to face itself!
Destroy what it sees,
what it hates,
what it has become!

I think I'll pack my tent,
find a high mountain stream,
kick back and watch
the whole of civilization collaspe!
Watch the whole goddamned thing,
go to hell in a hand basket!

After all,
the sun will rise and set,
stars will still light the night sky,
deers breath will still be visible
in the frigid mountain air,
and birds will sing their songs of praise
to the first sharp rays of morning light.

That alone,
is enough for me.
