our old shed has grown cold.
no more laughter or silly gestures.
the walls have termites,
and the door won't close.

fix the furnace!
i dont think i can.
i tried building a fire,
but the roof caught aflame,
let's fix this ol' shed?
i'll try if you promise.

apply a new coat of paint,
to hide the depressing marks.
and a new latch on the door,
to keep everyone from coming inside.
maybe some new shingles too,
they got damaged in the fire.
ill even call the exterminator.

i hope these few simple things wiil be enough,
to fix what has become,
of our old shed.
i don't know what else to do.
