Forever Hold Your Peace
She is the one in the white gown,
Who wears love’s golden ring and crown.
She is still my truest friend,
And I shall stand beside her until the end.
He looks so stunning and so sharp,
Dressed so neatly, for him an angel plays her harp.
For him the heavens will always sing,
But his ring is her ring.
I am the bridesmaid, torn to shreds by emotion,
The love I have versus my friendship’s devotion.
Too late to speak my mind, words of the priest’s;
Forever hold your peace.

A winter rose wilted, reflecting one's once cherrished love. Never will that flower again bloom after death.

As delicate as the topic of
As delicate as the topic of this poem is, it is inevitable to sense such rueful tension throughout the whole poem. Very well-delivered.
P.S. I'm not certain if you have ever seen the movie "Love Actually," Bleeding Bridesmaid. It's a British film, consisted of various stories that, as it turns out, are all related to one another. The reason why I'm bringing this up is because one of the stories from the film resembles the very personal story that you've beautifully delivered in your poem. I recall shedding a tear or two just watching the story -- something, I believe, you are living through each day. I just can't imagine being in your shoes, Bleeding Bridesmaid. All I can say for now is, I hope everything works out for the best.
Good luck

Sad but beautiful
Dear Bleeding Bridesmaid,
I like your poem. It has made me sad though it is very sincere and heartfelt. Alas, the true Muse comes to us in our hours of sorrow. I think Erato is a very sad Goddess. You know I believe She exists.
You definitely have a poetical talent.
Wishing you sublime inspiration
Glad You Liked It
Dear Ruslan
I like to think my fingers can type you a message that relates how well my heart knows Erato, and how little of Eros I have met. I am glad that out of all my pain, at least something of beauty can be born. To be told I have talent by one of my favorite authors on the sight helps return the smile to my broken face.
With all sincerity,

Simply Astounding
This work goes deep. Basing my opinion upon both this poem and the rest of your work thus far, I can conlcude that you write poems with a near mastery that is quite rare among the poetic populus in general. You never use cliches, which is quite refreshing to me. No, your writing is always original and very creative; it invokes feelings in the reader. Every one of your pieces stands out on its own. The word choice is always phenomenal, the lines flow well, almost melting into each other creating a fluid river of words that grabs the reader and carries them through the piece. Even though this is a short piece, I felt like I was swept into it. I like your rhyming scheme; it is very natural, no forced rhymes ever.
Overall, I think your poems reflect true mastery. Words are your tools, and you use them well.
Cheers!
