His Heart No Longer

Does he know that I’d do anything he asked me too?
Does he know that I’ll follow him where ever he may go?
Does he know that I’ll never love another?

Even if I could find the voice to say,
I’ve got a moral debt to deep to pay,
He’ll never know that he’s the only one.

What if he saw me watching him from the street corner?
To think he’s leaving work and going home to see her.
Does he know I’ll be going home to cry?

To the ends of the earth, I’d go with him anywhere.
But instead I have to pretend I don’t even care,
Because his heart is no longer his to give away.
