Silence
Silence drapes the night,
The flickering picture from the TV
Eerily illumines everything in sight.
A shadow dances below a street light
Summoning lonely nightmares not unknown to me,
While silence drapes the night.!--break--
And thus begins the realism and imagination’s fight.
Real are my fears for I fear reality,
The reality that he shall never love me.

Interesting imagery
This poem is a bit different from the others you wrote. I like its imagery, mysterious and uncanny, taking you into the unknown of the night. I feel myself like that "shadow dancing below a streetlight". I am a shadow, especially when I walk in the dark of the streets feeling strayed, knowing not where to go, knowing not the aim.
