Tomorrow

A wedding today, a funeral tomorrow,
Seeing them together fills me with too much sorrow.
I watch her walk down the church isle,
With her bright eyes and lovely smile.
Ready to become his wife,
Tomorrow I’ll take my life.

I watch her being everything I wanted to be,
I look away, the final kiss I do not see.
Too painful to see her have the happy ending,
Wishing I’ll wake up to find I’m only dreaming
And this loveless nightmare is not real,
But too real is this pain I feel.

Tomorrow I’ll wake up to sleep
And give my soul to the lord to keep.
If I leave a note I won’t say why,
I make the choice to die.
They’ll be on their honeymoon.
They’ll be back soon.
But when they come back…
Tomorrow they’ll dress in black.
