Ellipses
Ellipses
A verbal barrage of literary madness
That is hard to chew on
And hard to swallow
Font friction wearing the brackets
Into haggard cripples
Parenthesis with no legs or arms
That bleed into efficient punctuation
And bibliographical pot holes
Each cite is a paper plane of a preposition
Tossed into a waste basket
Of conjunctions and adverbs
That taste like rotten banana peals
When verbal consumption occurs.
Articles of capitalized conundrums
Clash with quoted italics
And author names in shiny black
Printer pack paper ink
That make my head hurt
Don’t call on me
I should pay better attention
Because I have no idea
What to say
