Taste the World

I want to taste the world
In spandex kisses
And Nikey drool.
Wanna bite my contradictions
And suck on Becca’s chair back
Tug on the hair dryer cord
Nip the princess’s pant leg
Digest the teacher’s head
And swallow the Cheshire Cat.
I’ll sample yarn
Lap up incarcerated dandylions
Eat Charlie’s fingernails
Choke on songs about chicken noodles
Cough up Brashawnte’s braids
And lick chalk and poster glue
And when the build up gets too big
I’ll barf it all back in a big heap
On the NO FOOD OR DRINK sign
Before I laugh and eat some more.
