We Women

Is there any better feeling in the world
then descending a staircase
with the wind fingering your hair
and lecherously lifting the hem of your dress
or the sun pressing close
to accentuate and praise your beauty
on the last day of summer?
Somehow we women myst feel empowered
to hold our heads so highly
and our endowments so proudly
with the whole world looking up at us
all agape and in awe at our feet.
