August Skies
Fire-crested
Purple clouds
Slow drifting in the sky
Eyes sifting
Through the evening shrouds
I watch them wander by
On twisting wind
The gulls ascend
Ears listen, as they call
Far-gazing
Through the vivid blend
As blue horizon sprawls
August reigns
With gaiety
In splendid, autumn hue
The golden plains
Entrancing me
As blissfulness, imbues
