Captiv8ed

Captiv8ed, in a trance

She's captured me, just with one glance

With nimble footsteps, I advance

I ask her hand to take this dance

Captiv8ed, by her smile

That's drawn me nearer all the while

It's strung me from that cold exile

I'd live in it for miles and miles

Captiv8ed, by her hair

That dances in the stillest air

Deep-set in red, sways with a flare

She handles it with noblest care

Captiv8ed, by her walk

The sometimes squeamish way she'd talk

I'd listen just to hear her sqauwk

From twelve a.m. till six o'clock

Captiv8ed, in her craft

With easy wit, she'd make me laugh

I'd feel the lightest lightness af

From heart to soul, down through my calfs

And in her eyes, I'd stay forever

Never, I'd stray far from them, never

Come rain or windstorms, I'd endeavor

The prettiest pair of stars, if ever

Captiv8ed, in a trance

With nimble footsteps, I advance

Down on one knee, I take a chance

And ask her hand, for true romance

Captiv8ed, she says "Yes!"

My heart leaps ten feet from my chest

Just how this feels, I can't assess

Forever, always, now, I guess
