I've never been this close to the sun before,
or felt the true splendor of it's passionate gaze
Nor, drawn a breath more rich with life
flooding my lungs this way

You've carried my soul for miles and miles,
from the cold...from the dark it knew
Unto the realm of the blissful clouds,
what resplendence, they imbue

A soothing breeze awakes the nerves,
that slept inside for years
The quelling freeze, begins to ease
as glory melts my fears

So different is this scenic place,
from whence the one I came
So potent is the joy I feel,
that I don't act the same

I find it hard to write of woes,
when all I feel is love
That chronic art I once enjoyed,
I can't imagine of

The gripping pain my heart adored,
and held since long ago
Is distant thrown from heightening clouds,
down to the seas below
