Fields of Debauchery

On golden fields, so many times
We were, just you and me
Just listening, as the sparrows chime
On fields of debauchery

There lounging, as the sun beams down
Against the wheat, it glistens
Feeling the wind-swirls breeze around
She and I, there kissin'

A peaceful sight, so beautiful
Like paintings from Van Gogh
Sketching the scenes complete and full
He drew so long ago

Upon the fields, where no one knows
The things that we would do
Bare-naked, without any clothes
No, they don't have a clue

Out to the fields, we'd whisk away
Out to them every evening
Amidst the crickets, we would stay
Amidst their constant singing

There, chasing lightbugs blinking by
We'd catch them in a jar
Beneath the orchard, we would lie
And see a shooting star

No blissfulness, could quite compare
Under those boston nights
Never you'd find a sky so fair
Or find a heart so light

I miss those fields of olden day
That once had captured me
Those times, have long since passed away
Fields of debauchery
