Genie, Be Gone!
I thought I'd found a good-luck charm
Whence I conjured up this genie
Her loveliness, blew my alarm
She wore a red bikini
Out from this ruby vase, she sprung
That I'd found in my attic
Yea.. I was sure spellbound and hung
The spring.. was automatic
She spoke to me with sparkly eyes
And said she'd be my servant
She shimmered like a golden prize
So blindly and so fervant
I didn't ask from where she came
I did not need to know
She didn't know of her own name
So there, we did not go
And, she supplied me endless wishes
A river full of tender kisses
An aisle of glee and specal dishes
And set me all aglow
But, never did I think her crazy
Behind that smile, a thornful daisy
That would just shock, and all amaze me
But, this was true and surely so
She glared upon me in my sleep
Her eyes turned into slits, so deep
Beyond this peach, a witch there creeps
How could I ever, ever know?
All she wanted was my soul
The missing slice to make her whole
Make me a drone in her control
No, not a genie, but a troll
Atlast, I said to her one day
'Maybe...it's best...you go away'
To her chagrin and her dismay
Her eyes grew dime, the skies grew gray
She rose above me glowering
The grounds began to shake
And every window in my house
So loud, began to break
She graveled in a deep-set voice
'WHATEVER DO YOU MEAN?!?'
From off the floor, she upward hoist
Into a monster, green
Out from this skin, so pure and soft
That I had come to know
Arose a witch so grizzly awf '
Vomit, began to throw
Spinning into a raged whirlwind
Dragging objects aloof
Snatching chairs and little cats
She even caved the roof
I held on strong, so dear for life
Onto the snapping curtains
Closer she brought me into strife
A goner...I...for certain
Finally, she funneled down
Back in her ruby vase
And with a thud, I hit the ground
With sweat drenched down my face
I lightly took it up in hand
And placed it in my car
I drove it to a distant land
Unto a beach, so far
I put it on a catapult
And slung it in the ocean
Never again I'd get that pull
No never again, the notion
