Hurlin' Merlin
Magic spells bedazzle from
The angry wand of Merlin
Out from the chambers of his heart
He sends the lightning hurlin'
His captors who had stymied him
And locked him in a dungeon
Have all now run away or ducked
He's sent them all a' lungin'
Shapeshifting into beastly brutes
And morphing into giants
Proving his might, for all to see
For those who stay defiant
Rising a fourth-mile in the air
Spinning just like a whirlpool
Hurling out magic here and there
As stars shoot out like bright jewels
Turning his rivals into sheep
Bleating about, chaotic
Putting whatever nag to sleep
Swinging his arms, robotic
Every evil hand that swiped
And every foot that kicked
Are stricken to a meager stripe
Just with a little flick
Finally, the storm recedes
And people peek out windows
Every foe now morphed in breed
And hushed, the loud crescendo
He funnels down, back to the ground
With nothing left to hurl
And every nook and cranny round
Now, sparkles like a pearl
