Imprints

You've left your imprints on the heart
You fed and helped to mold
The purest love, did you impart
Inside it's vault of gold

You've left your imprints in the sands
That drift along my soul
Implements, so firm and grand
Although you've long been cold

You've left your imprints on the life
You prized above your own
And only if I meet it's plight
Could ever, I atone

Mother?
