Mother Time

Time, can never wither her
She's conquered all it's ages
And challenges could not defer
She's breezed through all their stages

The longest days and coldest nights
Can't dwindle down her spirit
Though harmful snares, may come to bite
She sees no cause to fear it

Her children, braced within her arms
Are blocked from cold abound
And coveted from piercing harm
Though waves may crash around

Lonesome tears will seldom fall
Behind a veil, compiling
But when she reappears, so tall
She's stronger and she's smiling

Emerging with a calming grace
With every reassurance
Father time, who's lost the race
Can't match her great endurance
