Out into the open air

Songs that sing to every nation

Songs that call for all to change
To change our ways, to rearrange

Some songs are brief, but filled with grief
Some songs call out for world relief

They may be light, and rhyme with glee
Or dark and speak of tragedy

Some songs reveil the hurtful things
Or God and all the good He brings

Songs wrote to relive the past
Songs remembering love surpassed

Songs that sing to mother earth
The out-stretched lands that held our birth

Songs that bellow from our pain
Songs free-flowing, like the rain

Songs that surface from the waves
Songs that echo through the caves

Songs that ring like poetry
This timeless art that's captured me

Songs that talk about abuse
The carnage of your heart's misuse

Songs that make you wanna live
Wanna love, wanna fly

Songs that makes the pain relive
Don't wanna hurt, just wanna die

Songs that capture our devotions
Catching the ear of our emotions

Whatever tune, whatever song
That fancies in our hearts, prolonged

I guess the reasons why we write's
Because it's real, and just feels right
