A Knowing Man..

A knowing man..
Stands tall and grand
Above the speckled earth
No longer searching for a plan
Or pondering his worth

There in the fold
Bright-shining, bold
Amidst the sea of faces
A fellowship, of young and old
Filling the open spaces

Within a life
Of joys and strife;
He struggled hard to clasp.
Cloaked in a world, suffused with rife
So many things to grasp

The outer-range
Had looked so strange
To breathe, had seemed so odd.
Then came the day, when all that changed
Once he had looked to God

Right at that time
Distinct.. sublime
His eyes had scanned the crowd
He heard their voices, upward-chime
His heart... had beat aloud

The beauty of..
The skies above..
The teeming grounds below
The gripping scenes, perfused with love
The waves.. that ebb and flow

Amidst the throng
He felt belonged
And there, he found a meaning
"Enwrapped in goodness, there's no wrong.
No darkness, intervening"

A knowing man
Stands tall and grand
Above the speckled earth.
And to the skies, he upward-hands
A smile, so bright with mirth
