Castles, They Might Crumble..

Castles, they might crumble
Dreams, may not come true
But love that steady rumbles
Could never bid adieu

Within the thumping heart, it beats
So loudly and so strong
It doesn't run, nor does it fleet
And fancies there prolong

Silverware might fade and rust
And skies do light and darken
But, like a neverending gust
The winds sing soft, just harken

All around it funnels there
As you stand in the middle
Dancing with a soothing air
That lingers like a fiddle

Solid ground does seldom crack
And mountains do erupt
But purest love that never lacks
Could never end abrupt

Promises, sometimes forsake
And loses leave a void
Flimsy things can bend or break
But love does not avoid

Little ones do grow in age
And seasons change in cycle
Flowers blossom stage to stage
And cans can be recycled

But love that was, and still remains
Does never budge or stray
A sturdiness that never strains
Resides there everyday

loved this one

I loved this one and so true
perfect from start to finish
objects fade out of our lives but love remains forever good, words Bryce well placed from Willow

Beautiful!

A beautiful poem about love in its purest form.
