Wherever the Winds May Blow

Wherever the winds may blow
Take me
Wherever a fray of hope
May be

Upon the boundless seas
I float
Lying inside
A small, wood boat

Out in the middle
Of nowhere
No sight of land
Just open air

For many days
I have not moved
My hopeless state
Not yet improved

With nothing else
I talk to God
Revealing the pain
Of my facade

Through days and nights
I've layed and prayed
Fighting the tricks
My mind has played

Seeing the sharks'
Approaching fins
Hearing that awful
Song again

The snake-eyed specter
Of Calypso
Those screeching sirens
Not again, NO!

Somehow, I feel
I've read this story
Ringing, into my eardrums
Sorely

But, this is not
Some bed-time story
Nor riveting act
Or tales of glory

It's my reality
And I'm out here, lost
Awaiting the winds
To come across

Wherever, now
That they will lead
Hopefully, where
My lord agrees

"Those screeching sirens Not

"Those screeching sirens
Not again, NO!

Somehow, I feel
I've read this story"

those are my favorite lines, nice poem man

Great poem full of feeling

Wonderful choice of words and your imagery searches and
seeks the high and mighty Lord, as we sift through the conflicts
and uncertainties in life: We come to know Him! We hope
our life is a life that is of His sacred bond!
