8.~Power Withdrawn: Unwritten.

Jonathon sat at his desk staring

At the blank page before

Him while twirling

The chewed pencil

Between his

Fingers.

He leans back as he searches his mind for

The hidden words that are unwritten

The words that reveal the pain

Of the past that turned him

Towards the path of

Alcoholism.

The selective sunslight glowing from the dusty

Window enlightens the paper and suddenly

The pencil is brought down upon

It and begins to move back

And forth at a rapid pace

That is known as

Writing.

Jonathon's mind unwravels to reveal

His pain of what once was

So long ago and the tears

Form and fall without

Difficulty onto the

Mahogany desk

As his eyes

Twinkle with

The thought

Of letting

Go.
