Winter Looms
I feel the chill
I'm yet not fat
The smell of perfectness
In me will dwell
I am determined
I will succeed
To fill my belly
Of luscious leaves
Climb up high
To where strength grows
Suddenly a snap
To startle so
Running fast
Devise new plans
That juicy scent
I cannot stand
Back again to have my fill
Get the gold
Gnaw the stem
Heavy burden lightened now
Half it's size
My belly full
Hidden in the bushes still
My prize,
The Lovely Sunflower
