Poetry in the Kitchen
Writing poetry is like having our own recipe.
In spite of the countless others which existed long before,
We struggle to come up with our very own.
We dedicate ourselves to it,
Without expecting anything in return.
And for many occasions we do it secretly,
And try to relish it,
On one little corner of our kitchen.
Sometimes some friends and unexpected guests
Would come in, till we cannot hide it any longer.
For they could smell the fresh flavor
Which vaporizes in the air
Revealing the mysterious ingredients
We strive to bring in harmony
According to the chemistry of the things we found
Around and within!

Poetry Compared To a Stew
Clairejane,
I rather like that analogy that you have presented to us here. We all havwe out own individual way to stir the concoction until the consistency is just so.
Write on,
Pete
