My sister Rebecca is pretty
And she looks very good for her age
And she’s had quite a life in this city
Hey I’ve even seen her on the stage

She's brought up a beautiful family
All my nieces and nephews are there
And her husband is kind
With a wise turn of mind
They impress as a wonderful pair

She strongly believes in religion
And believes god will set her a place
And if it is true
Then deep down we all knew
From the glow that he put on her face

She lives quite some distance from my house
And that distance has kept us apart
But really she’s near
Where I keep her so dear
She’s all snuggled up here in my heart
