Grammatical gymnastics

Words flood my mind,
torrents of them,
that wash away simplistic phrases
HERE AND THERE
If I could go;
from here to there.
In an instant.
Quicker than light.
Then I would leave.
You here,
and go
there.
Then not being here.
I wouldn't hear,
you say.
Goodbye.
But, if my speed
METAMORPHIC
Little dots
speaking
under fingers.
That once pointed
in derision.
Searching steps
of feet
that once strode
roughshod.
Suggestive scents
assault
unknowing nostrils.
