Dream Of Temptations
In my dream
I was starring at your bright eyes,
never was there a scene so serene,
my heart reached for the sky
Moonlight washes over your skin,
Could you ever truly love a man like me?
And when did you become so thin?
Open your secrets for me to see.
Smeared with the prospect of love our lips touch,
Filled with lust for your skin I move in a bit farther,
Petrified now my hands they clutch,
Not enough for us yet let's go a bit farther.
Clothes lay scattered on the floor,
Along with my intentions,
My logic has walked out the door,
I pray for complete intervention.
Is sex so different from making love?
Is it for the pleasure or for the connection?
I stare down at your eyes from up above,
Mesmerized by your delicatley pale complexion.
Betrayed what I believe in,
Denied what I promised to you,
This could be the closest action to sin,
My face turns black and blue.
Halting the sex with doubts in my head,
I held too tightly your skin has gone red,
Taking in my surroundings I have been led,
The sick hunger of pleasure, has it been fed?
To be truthful to me would mean dishonest to he,
Can you calm my mind and just allow me to hold you?
What have I done, made you cheat?
Is this the reason we've come unglued?
In my dream,
I never felt so wrong,
It never quite seemed,
I ever truly belonged.
