What are the heavenly rewards,
promised by God to the saved?
Who not seeking earthly rewards,
or fleeting personal acclaim,
have worked here on earth to glorify his name.

Even though the bible doesn't say,
all that is in store for his saints,
there must be more than songs all day,
while walking down streets paved with gold,
and wonderful sights to behold.

Might our rewards in Heaven be,
things which we enjoyed here on earth?
Like a favorite activity,
perhaps with loving pets restored,
or any others God should accord.

One thing I know beyond a doubt,
His rewards are more than is told.
In Heaven we may just find out,
if physical rewards can't be,
all about virtual reality.
