A possible solution?...
If on a certain day, I don't want to do something the hard way, I don't do it at all, don't think about it, period. Then the next day, or the next I will have to do it. Even if it's harder by that time, at least it was easy for a while.

It was a well written piece Dave, and I can almost hear this being spoken with a sigh of resignation...And it can apply to any number of things!
You and Joyce have really got this haiku thing figured out, and i may eventually get around to trying it out one of these days and i know where to come for advice!
